“Diamond In The Sky”
Ask Terry and he’ll tell you that his first love was always music, especially “rock and roll”. As a young man, he played lead guitar in a popular group from the Northwest called “The Fabulous Chancellors”. “Diamond In The Sky” was a top ten hit single on the Pacific NW pop charts and was later picked up by “DOT” records for national distribution where it sadly faded into the sunset. “If DJ’s hadn’t heard of your band, it was very difficult to get your records played on the air,” Terry said.
The Northern Lights
Having come to grips with the reality that he would probably never be a rock star, Terry decided to serve a mission for the LDS Church. “I spent 2 ½ years in Norway, ‘the land of the midnight sun’, and loved every minute of it. Norway is a beautiful country and Norwegians are wonderful people. I shall always treasure this experience.”

Upon returning from Norway, Terry enlisted in the Army National Guard where he served for six years. “We trained in the Idaho desert between Boise and Mt. Home. It was during the Vietnam War and we were always on high alert status but never called into active duty”.
Diamond Rings
Terry had a successful career selling diamond engagement rings and other precious gems for his family’s small chain of jewelry stores known as Call Jewelers. “This is were I learned all about customer service. My father, who started our business, taught me ‘If it isn’t the best job you can do, it’s not good enough.” In 2001, Terry was elected by his peers into National Jeweler’s Retail Jewelers Hall of Fame. “That was an exceptional honor, but I always thought that the recognition belonged to my parents.”

In 2004, Terry decided to try his hand at selling real estate. “I believe my jewelry experience prepared me well for what I’m doing now because I learned about the kind of service that client’s want and deserve.
